On Saturday 14 February 2026, Château de Morey opens its doors for a Valentine's Day dinner dance. Guests are expected from 7:30 pm in the château's reception rooms, a 16th-century building raised on the ruins of a Templar convent, between Nancy and Metz.
A Four-Course Gastronomic Menu
The evening begins with an aperitif: a Coupe du Château with amuse-bouche. The starter is a wild boar pâté en croûte with veal sweetbreads, trumpet mushrooms, and a foie gras insert. The main course is beef fillet, served with a Meuse truffle and apple tourte, roasted quince and white balsamic vinegar sauce, with celeriac and quince. Dessert, named "Mon Chéri," closes the meal before coffee or tea.
Wines are included throughout the evening: champagne for the aperitif, white and red wine during the meal, champagne with dessert, and mineral water.
A vegetarian option is available upon request when booking.
Sabina, Live Violinist
Violinist Sabina performs live throughout the evening. Between courses, during dessert, and to open the dance, her music sets the pace of the night. No DJ, no overblown sound system. The violin fills the château's vaulted ceilings and creates an atmosphere that is both intimate and celebratory.
After the meal, the dancing begins. The château's ballroom, with its period ceiling fresco, welcomes couples to extend the evening.
